PGS Warcraft transfer to nGize, add YanE

The German gaming organisation nGize announced today the acquisition of PGS Gaming’s former international Warcraft III squad.

PGS Gaming has decided not to renew contracts with any of their five international players, some of whom barely had time to settle in. Both team and management have decided to remain together and move as one unit, despite joining PGS separately, to the German based team nGize.

Manager Jaco “Lloth” van Dijk had this to say on the occasion, “Today we will start a new adventure by joining nGize.FSP. They are offering us a lot more potential to grow as a team, with fundings for offline tournaments and a additional budget to give us a brighter future. Last few weeks I have been talking a lot to nGize.FSP and they are highly dedicated and professional in their activities. I am looking forward in working with them and show my new management some great results with my team.”

PGS Gaming is based in Poland with Polish based sponsors and given that an international Warcraft team doesn’t resonate well with Polish fans, it is possible that funding was either cut or diverted to another part of the team, meaning another squad being picked up by PGS is unlikely. The well established PGS Counter-Strike team was also removed some months ago, for the benefit of the teams sponsors.

In addition to the move Andrew “YanE” Toeniskoetter was added to the roster. Toeniskoetter joins nGize from DELTA eSports where he was able to make a name for himself competing in the NGL ONE league. Toeniskoetter enjoyed a fair amount of success in the NGL ONE where he was able to win against a handful of accomplished opponents.

“We have been lacking a undead in our line-up even with the new patch its useful to have undead on your side, Andrew has been showing his strength and potential for some weeks now. With his own gameplay and dedication for the game he will fit in perfectly. We hope we can keep on performing like we where last few weeks and we do our best to show the nicest games.” Lloth, showing his enthusiasm for the teams new prospect.

The team will retain their NGL ONE and WC3L positions. The nGize roster is as follows:

Juha-Matti “Satiini” Bäckström
Benjamin “DeMusliM” Baker
Daniel “LiiLD.C” Claesson
Fredrik “KnOfF” Knopf
Andrew “Yane” Toeniskoetter
Nicholas “ShrieK” Whittier
