SaSe signs with Team Alternate

The German based Team Alternate announced today their acquisition of Swedish night elf player Kim “SaSe” Hammar.
Hammar was recently released from longtime team Mousesports just prior to the WC3L finals. Details were scarce but the break between team and player was believed to be a mutual decision with the relationship ending on good terms.
The Swede spent several weeks competing without a team where he felt relief from the pressure of high expectations, “I have been without team for a while now, and it has been kind of nice with no pressure at all from anyone else than my self,” as he explains.
While at the same time feeling the affects of a diminished drive for competition, “but it has also has been less motivation to play the game and I didn’t practice that much”.
Hammar has rediscovered his passion for the game after joining Alternate, but has also become enthused at the thought of being able to pass on the knowledge he acquired from his time spent in Mousesports, “Now joining Team Alternate I have teammates I will force to play and also try to teach them as much as I can. Team Alternate got a really nice and unique concept how to keep the team spirit up which I like a lot already”.
Alternate were able to re-qualify for the WC3L with a surprisingly adept performance in the previous season, cementing their place as one of the most promising amateur teams in the league. With the new season just on the horizon, the time to finalize team rosters is slimming, Alternate and indeed most other teams in the league are liable to make roster changed right before the final bell.
Hammer’s ex-teammate Yoan “ToD” Merlo, a highly desirable human competitor, is still up for grabs. Alternate could very well be courting the Frenchman.
With Hammer’s inclusion and a fair bit of experience under their belts Team Alternate is looking much better going into this season of the WC3L. Expectations of the team are high, whether or not their results will match those expectations remains to be seen.
