After a six month hiatus from competition the ESL’s King of the Hill series returns with gusto, pitting teammates Hyosub “FoCuS” Eom and Sueng Hyun “Space” Park against one another.
Hyosub claimed the throne after defeating Mykhaylo “HoT” Novopashyn three to one in December of 2007, at which point Novopashyn had been holding the title for over a year.
After winning the coveted King of the Hill crown Hyosub had only one title defense before the event was again put on hiatus, but tomorrow it returns with a bang.
This is Hyosub’s first title King of the Hill match as a fnatic player, having won both previous games under the MeetYourMakers banner.
With both players being from the same team, both are quite familiar with the others style of play, “I think it will be very hard for me to play against him because he we know each others style a lot through practice,” as Hyosub explains.
Park voiced similar concerns “He’s a good orc player and has helped me a lot in practice so I think we know each others style really well…”
At the same time he’s also enthused about the opportunity to showcase his abilities to the community, “I am looking forward to it and I think we can make a good show for fans. We will play this serious and I want to thank ESL for giving me this chance.”
