Mouz release Happy, withdraw from WC3L
In an official statement published today, Mousesports stated that the Russian undead user Dimitry “Happy” Kostin has been released from the team.
Kostin 17, decided to leave the organisation after a decision was made to withdraw from the new season of the WC3L, which Mousesports feel contradicts what they would like to achieve with their Warcraft squad.
Kostin enjoys competing in the WC3L and has left the team to pursue that interest, giving a good indication of where he might end up.
Mousesports have released three of their international players over the past few weeks, first Kim “SaSe” Hammar, then Yoan “ToD” Merlo and now Kostin. Mousesports’ international squad now consists of Wei Liang “Fly100%” Lu, Jiankai “Yumiko” Yu and Dennis “HasuObs” Schneider. Mousesports has had a penchant for signing promising Chinese talent for quite some time now, it’s quite possible the German organisation will bring in an entirely Chinese based team, keeping on Schneider to compete in German events like the ESL Pro Series.
Gravitas Gaming has had a wild hare for Eastern European talent for quite some time. It’s quite likely they’ll make a bid to acquire the talented Russian however, there are a handful of teams in the WC3L who would benefit just as much, if not more so, from picking up an undead player as powerful as Kostin.
Mousesports have indicated they will be acquiring a new Warcraft squad at some point in the future, more on this as it develops.
