4Kings Announce New Counter-Strike Team

Four Kings have announced their new ‘additional’ Counter-Stike 1.6 team. Their new team consists of the ex players from Finnish team Excello.

Four Kings have said that they are keeping their current UK based 1.6 team but wish to re-associate themselves within the world wide Counter-Strike community.

“This move will allow the 4Kings brand to be re-instantly associated with being on the bleeding edge of Counter Strike1.6. 4Kings will still be nurturing our UK 1.6 team throughout their entirety and are not being replaced.”

The roster is as follows

Joona ‘natu’ Leppänen
Matti ‘SPIKEONE’ Järvinen
Tomi ‘toomi’ Lundahn
Janne ‘Kuppi’ Kuparinen
Tomi ‘lurppis’ Kovanen

Statement from Natu

“After things with our previous organisation didn’t work out – we had an evaluation in the team of what things were going to look like in the future. We came to the conclusion of striving to be better and to be a team that people would respect. It didn’t take long untill we initiated talks with Four Kings and came into terms that both sides agreed upon. We’re all very glad to be part of the 4K family and are looking forward to a bright and succesful partnership! I’m personally of course very glad to yet again wear the shirt that once brought me great moments and memories. Upon this statement we’d also like to thank Konsta “kookas” Kaisla for his services in June and would like to welcome Tomi “toomi” Lundahn to the roster. We feel we’ve now got a great mixture of experience, talent, skill and friendship which are keypoints in road to success!”

Statement from Javax (4Kings Assistant Manager)

“This additional Counter-Strike team will now earn 4Kings a foothold in the 1.6 scene which we haven’t had for a while now through our focus on the UK market. Whilst we’ll continue to work with the homegrown scene by keeping our UK team, the guys from Finland are a welcomed addition to the organisation. Natu is once again returning to 4Kings, it seems it’s not the same without him! The first event for the team is WCG Finland this weekend.”
