SpawN hospitalized, ESWC hopes waning

SK-Gaming have posted word that Abdisamad “SpawN” Mohamed was escorted to hospital after suddenly becoming ill while between games in the tournament area.
SK Gaming managed to finish out their group stage matches before Mohamed’s health took a turn for the worse, medical assistance was brought in quickly and Mohamed was then escorted to hospital. SK Gaming, despite being one of the most well accomplished teams in Counter-Strike, has never managed to win an ESWC Championship however, their chances this year seem to be dwindling as one fifth of their team remains incapacitated.
What caused Mohamed to be taken ill is not yet certain though his teammates have suggested his diet throughout the course of the day consisted predominantly of junk foods and sweets, a possible candidate.
It’s not yet clear as to whether or not Mohamed will be fit to continue or if SK Gaming will have to forfeit their upcoming matches and withdraw from the event, more on this as it develops.
Mohamed has since returned to the event and will continue competing, SK General Manager Alex “TheSlash” Mueller puts Mohamed’s brief ill spell down to exhaustion and stress. SK have now qualified for the final bracket.
