WC3L XIV Playday 5
 The WC3L season continues this week with play day five of a scheduled eleven. Now, roughly half way through the season the potential contenders are starting to separate themselves from the pack.
Mortal Team Work and Keepers of Destruction will be clashing this week, while SK Gaming and RAPTOR Gaming will be going at it. Both of these Korean squads, in terms of ability, literally tower over their week five opponents. SK Gaming could consider this an opportunity to close the gap between themselves and fnatic, while Mortal Team Work can look upon this as an opportunity to put some additional distance between themselves and the opposition.
On Monday Alternate, currently sixth in the league just behind SK Gaming, will be duking it out with wNv in what could be a pivotal match for both teams. The Chinese side has been performing less than admirable this season, just managing to squeek past their two initial opponents, while suffering devastating losses at the hands of both SK Gaming and, surprisingly, nGize. It’s imperative that wNv get some points under their belts pronto if they expect to be competing for a finalist position this season.
Alternate are the same boat as wNv for now, winning games by inches or losing them quite convincingly. Though Alternate seem to be struggling at this early stage it’s only going to get more difficult for the team as the season progresses. Mortal Team Work, Meet Your Makers, fnatic and SK Gaming are Alternate’s next four opponents, a win this week could help, but a loss this week will surely spell the end.
